We started by giving the tree-lined fence some extra purpose. Uplighting these trees added beautiful depth to the yard, but it also increased safety along the perimeter, especially in the evening when the family and their guests are moving between zones. It’s subtle, but it sets the tone from the moment you step outside.
The sunken fire pit is a notable element of the design. We layered tape lighting along the steps leading down, creating a soft guide while creating a cozy vibe. Overhead, we added café-style string lights to dial up the atmosphere. The result is a space that feels just as inviting for family s’mores as it does for an impromptu cocktail hour.
At the front of the home, we flanked the entrance to the porte cochere with well-placed uplights on nearby planters and trees, creating a warm welcome for our clients and their guests.
For the sports court, functionality led the way, but we didn’t compromise on design. We installed lighting that’s bright enough for a pick-up game but still feels cohesive with the overall outdoor aesthetic. No harsh stadium vibes here, just intentional lighting placement.
And then there’s the mermaid. A custom statue and centerpiece of the pool design, she deserved her own moment. We used specialty lighting to highlight her form and cast just enough shimmer to make her the focal point from every angle. This was a fun one, equal parts beauty, play, and precision. We’re proud to say the lighting doesn’t just complement the landscape; it elevates how the space is lived in every single night.
